Youth4Values reached the end of its original implementation period on 31 October 2026. Its continuation framework sets out how the partnership's learning, materials and relationships can remain useful through Bosnia Think Tank Center, with a three-year development horizon from November 2026 to October 2029.
Keeping the project's resources useful
The established legacy includes international training and exchange experience, local activity formats, national action plans and multilingual learning materials. The continuation framework places responsibility for keeping these resources accessible at the heart of the next stage.
That involves practical decisions about who maintains a resource, how it can be reused and where a young person or practitioner can ask for help. The framework commits to keeping basic access to Youth4Values materials free, while planning the support needed to make those materials useful in new settings.
A facilitator may adapt a toolkit method for a different group; a local organisation may draw on an existing activity format. Continued usefulness depends on clear responsibility, appropriate permissions and feedback from the people using the resources.
The next chapter · Proposed direction
A programme built to continue
01 Establish a dependable base
Clarify responsibilities, maintain project resources and develop local working relationships.
02 Strengthen what proves useful
Review experience, refine practical methods and deepen cooperation around community needs.
03 Share learning and review progress
Use evidence to consider adaptation in other settings and inform the next period of work.
Proposed development direction for November 2026–October 2029. Delivery depends on annual planning and available resources.
Continuity becomes credible through the work people can return to.
Connecting community concerns with research
The proposed local programme brings together civic workshops, mentored youth-led initiatives and small dialogues with institutions. It is intended to offer several ways to participate, from an introductory learning session to more sustained work on a community question.
The framework illustrates this through a possible concern about access to a local youth space. A group could describe the issue, listen to other users, identify the responsible institution and prepare a short proposal. Follow-up would then record the institution's response and the options available to the group.
Research is intended to support this process. Proposed short policy briefs would explain the question, method, findings, limitations and a practical recommendation. These formats remain planned activities, to be developed through the Center's annual programme and available resources.
Giving young people a role in the programme
The continuation proposals include a youth reference group that would bring together former participants and people new to the Center. Its suggested role is to comment on the annual offer, identify participation barriers and contribute to the choice of research questions.
An international advisory arrangement is also proposed to retain expertise from BRAVO, You in Europe, Asociación Mojo de Caña and PRONA. The framework makes clear that its composition and remit require agreement through the Center's governance procedures.
These proposals set a direction for participation in the institution itself. They do not describe already appointed groups. Their value will depend on whether contributions receive a considered response and whether people can see how their input informs the work.

Following the work through
The development path begins with establishing working routines and completing the project handover. Later stages propose strengthening activities that prove useful and considering how partners might adapt approaches in their own settings.
A central part of this approach is careful follow-up. Sharing a recommendation, receiving a reply, recording a commitment and verifying an implemented change are different stages. The framework proposes retaining evidence for each, so that accounts of progress remain precise.
Continuity becomes credible through the work people can return to. For the Center, the next phase is a programme to develop and review: accessible resources, useful questions, dependable relationships and a visible account of what happens after a conversation.
